Description
I know only too well, .. this painting should not have been painted by me, .. a very good friend of mine should have painted it, .. she is a so much more accomplished artist and paintress than I am and furthermore, .. she is so close to Avalon as I shall never be …
.. she knew it only too well that it was the last time that she would return to Avalon .. though her hair had grown white her voice and her posture were as strong as ever, ..she could feel that the mists did not open totally, .. that they were revealing something she could only feel and fear, .. something that would mean the end of the old gods, ..the end of Avalon ...

It has been too long. Wonderful seeing your new artwork Almo. The light and detail are on spot. Love this my friend. F/L.

This painting is mesmerizing Almo. I had to pull out of interacting here some while ago, note following soon, but it feels imperative to leave this message. I almost can't take in how sensitively you have captured that feeling of a sacred place where the veil between other realms is thin and penetrable at times. That ethereal quality shines throughout the work, in the holy buildings and grey choppy waters. I'm convinced that no one else could come close to achieving that. Its' mystery and magic, beauty and melancholy, pulls at the heart strings. The characters in the boat are so "alive" even though the picture itself has a very skillful appearance of having been completed in some ancient time. A truly unique masterwork in every way. It leaves me profoundly silenced.
