Back to the Pond also means "back to my painting board", I did not use for such a long time.
You may say: Once again another pond picture, and I will answer, you are abolutely right.
I think we should paint only objects, we are attracted to, scenes we rediscover in our soul ..
And what is more, it is always the same pond, not far where I live, .. but always another one, as the angle of view is different, or the time, or the light, or simply my own mood.
Water, eath, the air, this is all I find in this motif, and you may reply, what about fire,
this element you have not mentioned. Then I say to you, you are absolutely right again, this element the painter himself has to add to his paintings, the fire of enthusiasm and fascination, .. and I dearly hope, you may find this in my painting too ....
